Report on Independence Day Celebration
This year our school celebrated 76th Independence on 15 August 2022 with great joy and pomp. The program started at 7:30 a.m. with the welcome of our chief guest Reverent father Lakwin Fernando and sister Lincy regional councillor. Chief guest unfurled the flag. We all sang our National Anthem. This event started with prayers. A march past was organized and was led by different four houses presented a PT display thereafter All the students showed a fine P.T. Vansh delivered English speech and Vanshika delivered Hindi speech with great confidence and left no stone unturned to give in their best on the topics they got. Students of class VIII sang beautiful patroitic song. An Inter house group dance competition on patriotic song for classes VI to VIII was held in which four houses highlighting the richness of the cultural heritage. All the participants showed their talents. The students of all the four houses made colourful Rangoli. Bulletin board competition was also held among four different houses and all classes. Our Principal gave a very motivational and patriotic speech. Chief guest gave a thoughtful provoking message to our students. The event came to a close with our National Song 'Vande Mahatram.....' This was followed by a vote of thanks proposed by the Assistant head girl ,Akshita Sharma. Our school carried out a peacefully rally that started from our school and ended at Government Hospital. Theme for this rally is " HAR GHAR TIRANGA AND AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV ". In the end, the program ended by giving sweets to all the students.
