Guidelines for Parents

Parent-teacher co-operation is essential for complete and harmonious development of the student’s personality. The process of informal education is set in motion at birth and gains momentum in the school, a centre of formal education. To bring out the best in the child, family influences should aid and supplement school efforts. Both school and home should help the child to inculcate in her/him the desirable behavior patterns, healthy habits and positive attitudes in personal and social life, to make her/him a pride of family and an asset to the society. Constant vigilance on the part of the guardians pay rich dividends. Please read the following points in the interest of your ward:

  • Co-operate with the school by paying attention to your ward’s regularity, punctuality and discipline by taking interest in her/his work.
  • Check messages, circulars, worksheets, homework etc. given from the school E-care panel daily.
  • Parents are not allowed to take the child home during school hours. In case of emergency; either father or mother has to come personally to take the child from the school.
  • No student will be permitted to go home after the periodic Tests. Therefore parents should not send their ward to appear in the Examinations if she/he is unwell.
  • Students who have been sick for more than three days should submit to the class teacher a medical certificate from their doctor along with an application for leave on the joining day.
  • Students are not allowed to bring Mobile phones, I- Pods, Walkman, magazines, cassettes, crackers, lighters, explosive match boxes, harmful instruments, smart watches, health band etc. If a student brings these things, it will be confiscated under all circumstances by the school authorities and disciplinary action will be taken against them.
  • If your ward tends to pick-up abusive languages/ foul words from different sources without understanding their meaning, we will take requisite measures to counsel and check them at our end and also request you to take corrective actions at your end.
  • All letters/applications must be addressed to the principal and not to any person by name.
  • School fee must be paid by the stipulated date in each quarter or installment. Cashless transaction facility available at your convenience.
  • Visit to the school website and school mobile app on regular basis for latest updates.
  • Intimate any change of residential address to the school authorities.
  • Check the hair cut, hair style, uniform, cleanliness of your ward on regular basis.
  • Ensure that your ward carries books, exercise books according to the time table for the day.
  • Ensure that all the belonging of your ward are labeled with his/her name.
  • Parents- teachers-meetings should be utilized as a platform to interact with the teachers to be well informed regarding the academic progress and growth of your ward.
  • It is compulsory for the student to attend the re-opening day of the school after any vacation.
  • Do not send Junk food for lunch.
  • Parents are requested not to visit teachers’ home or contact them for any need.
  • Students who break and damage school property will have to pay a fine of Rs.1000 along with the cost of repairs.
  • The students must be in the school 10 minutes before the assembly bell, Late arrivals will not be allowed to attend the class.
  • Your Ward’s safety is our priority. Therefore, the school directs the parents not to send their ward by two- wheelers or four wheelers by self drive.
  • Any extra information demand paper-work for birth- certificate, bonafide certificate, tuition fee etc. will be charged with Rs.50/- and will be issued on the third day.
  • Striking off the Name from the School Rolls :
    • Non- payment of fees and other dues (if any) for 30 days after the last date of payment.
    • Absence of a student without leave information to the school for 15 consecutive days.
