Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our school this year. The event was organized on the school premises, and all participated in the festivities.
The celebration began with a special assembly where students shared the significance of Diwali and its relevance in promoting the victory of good over evil. The stage was beautifully decorated with colourful lights, and flowers, creating a festive atmosphere. The diya lighting ceremony, led by Sr.Vimla Vice-Principal, Sr. Blaisy, Sr. Noel, Staff- Coordinators, teachers, supporting staff, head boy, head girl, monitors from each class symbolized the triumph of light over darkness.
Students from various classes presented cultural programs, including dance performances, skit, and songs depicting the story of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya. There was also a special segment where Anushka Meena spoke about the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali by avoiding fireworks and focusing on traditional practices.
The celebration concluded with a message from Sr. Vimla (Vice Principal), emphasizing the values of Diwali, such as kindness, generosity, and togetherness. Everyone enjoyed the event and left with a sense of joy and positivity.
The Diwali celebration at our school was not only a fun-filled event but also a wonderful learning experience, reminding us of the importance of spreading light and happiness in our lives.
